Made in France, he must have had this made in 1940.

These Epaulets where found in the chest with his awards.

This is one of Schmeermanns Caps, it's about the only thing I didn't manage to buy. It is owned by a German collect called Marcus Rudolf.

Heinz Schmeermann is printed on a label inside this cap, with his rank as Leutnant in I. Art.-Regt. 146 (mot.)

Some wonderful pictures, I am just struggling to make my way through his hand writing and my German isn’t that good either.
